Then thursday night we met up with Jen's friend Shlomit. It was a fun night out in Tel Aviv. It was just a little disappointing that after repeatedly calling Jen we never ended up talking to her. At the bar that night we had fun. Talked to a bunch of guys who go to Sackler medical school in tel aviv, maybe i'll even check it out while i'm here.
Friday night (last night) was ridiculous though. I thought we were just going to some bar in Tel Aviv; turns out there was a change in plans. Matan, Emil, Sam and I went out to a party on a Kibbutz that wasn't too far from Ra'anana. I'm not exactly sure where it was nor what it was called. All i know is that we were driving on the highway, and there was no exit ramp, just a road leading off and we followed it, parked in a dirt lot and walked to this building. We then go through security which consisted of a guy looking through everything from my pockets, a metal detector and a pat down (security is no joke anywhere in israel). We then paid a cover, got stamped and then headed in. There were some people doing Karaoke in the corner and we heard that they were giving out free beer until the party started at 130. That's right; we got there at 0045 (1245am) and the party doesn't even start til 130. We had a good time dancing and enjoying the interesting mix of Israeli and American music that was loud enough for my ears to have just stopped ringing. Matan Stayed sober so we got back safely at some hour that was very late.

Today has been rainy. Sam finally played a pickup game of basketball with some locals and I relaxed and read a good bit (Stephen King's, Wizard and Glass).
Ok, my goals this week:
- learn a lil more hebrew
- Either start learning Krav Maga or sign up for a gym so i can start working out again, i feel so lazy.
- figure out what the heck is going on with my internship at the hospital.
Sam, where is the hair on your chest?
