surprise!

so last night sam and i went to a local coffee joint to get some tea and enjoy some internet since the computer room at our place was closed for a few days. While i was having a great time online, i got booted off and was sad. then i got cheered up when i got a random call from Emil. He was one of the soldiers that joined my birthright group last january. I hadn't been able to get in touch with him because he got rid of facebook. Turned out he lives in Kfar Saba, where i'm supposed to eventualy start working and it is about a 5 minute drive away.

He came and picked me up and we went to a local pub in Kfar Saba. We each had a delicious Leffe Brune and a heaping plate of edemame. It was awesome catching up with him. He got out of the Navy and is now doing international business translating for companies between russian, english, hebrew and maybe some turkish. Pretty rediculous considering he hasn't even gone to college yet, although he's starting this year. Looks like we're going to hang out again this weekend, I can't wait.
