Welcome from Israel!

Hello from Israel!

Yesterday was pretty uneventful, other than flying halfway across the world to a war-ridden country where we don't speak/understand the language. Our plane landed, we caught a cab, and checked in to our room at the Ra'anana Immigrant Absorption Center:

Turns out, Monday evening wasn't the best time to arrive in Israel. Why? Elections! In Israel, the whole country basically shuts down. This meant that I was unable to contact my internship coordinator or Israel Phones, which is kind of important, since I rented a cell phone and would like for them to deliver it. Also, it was pouring all day, making it difficult to explore the city. That's really all that's happened so far, so I'm going to wrap this up. In the meantime, enjoy this photo of Justin and I christening the apartment:

Isn't Goldstar great? Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
